2-Not even close to perfect

When Jacob explained how he assassinated Ivan, the only emotion that went threw Lance's lethal body were happy thoughts. Unfortunately, it wasn't going to be like that for a while. Graven's dead face jumped back to Lance's memory. Get the combination for Ivan's safe then kill Lance, Jacob thought. Lance had different ideas of who was going to die that day.
That was when Lance's keen vision was Finlay of a use in this world. He saw a rookie cop with a exposed badge. Shit!!! Lance thought, as he realized it was a set up. Lance would have to wait to kill Jacob.
Jacob followed Lance's vision and also saw the cops. The locked eyes, and had a understanding. Personal business later, defend our lives now. Lance drew his AK 47 just as fast as Jacob took out a gas mask and a pack of grenades. That's when the firing started. Lance quickly took cover right behind Jacob, and used his shoulder as a rest for him. The first grenades sparkled brilliantly and fragged about 3 police officers who were next to a car... What the hell were the police academies for if you can 'nade one car and have 3 officers dead in a single stroke of the arm and pulling out a pin?
Lance then realized something that only made his situation worse. Which made it terrible. The march behind him was more than a few dozen police officers. Marines. Some of the hardest to take down, and it takes a while too. Lance immediately went to close quarters and engaged 19 marines with two fists. One of them actually started to run away. Just when Lance thought his day couldn't possibly get worse, he realized the fight wasn't going to last very long. There were 12 snipers on 3 buildings taken aim. Then Lance had to smile. He got a call on his cell phone? The caller ID was what made his day not as terrible. Before he could get to his phone in his pocket, while fending off 16 marines left, he saw something. He wasn't shooting, but the marines and police officers were being... sniped? Confused, Lance glanced at his phone. ESS. Perfect, thought Lance, the Elite Sniper Squad. That explains the friendly fire against the marines and police... Then Lance was scared. Why would they help him? The last time he encountered them, he nearly killed half their squad. There were 40 of them, after they met Lance and Graven, there were only 4. They 'disappeared'... Into a grave- joked the deadly child. He quickly charged after the rest of Marines, he highly doubted that the ESS would shoot him, they probably wanted him alive.
That was when the day was his worst ever. Every law enforcement officer was shot, right in the head, at the same time. A sign of defeat. Lance picked up his phone and flinged it open.
"What do you want, ESS?" A chuckle from the other line, then the phone hanged up. Lance glanced at Jacob. Jacob was incredibly scared when he heard ESS. Lance pointed towards the roof tops, where they were being viewed in cross hairs by 3 dozen snipers.
A speaker called, suprising loud; "Lance- you owe us!" Lance was amazed, they helped him without wanting revenge for the loss of 4 of their best men? Then his joyful moment faded when he heard "Jacob?! I guess we will do the gods a favor and finish this for them..."
The ESS were a very spiritual group, to say the least. They believed the Greek gods, Ares, Apollo, and Hades wanted them to kill ones that had sinned or done wrong doing. Lance laughed incredibly hard. "Hey ESS, shoot him! See if I give a damn?"
36 shots, that formed the public health sign, with 2 red snakes around some sort of pin. Red bullets? ESS was definitely getting more creative with how to kill people. That's when his phone rang, but when he looked at the caller ID, the first thing that went to his mind was 'This is definitely not even close to perfect...'
